This Nu Stadium visitor guide starts with one thing: Nu Stadium doesn’t take cash, and there are no ATMs on site. If you’re flying in from Buenos Aires, Bogotá or Mexico City to see Inter Miami close out the regular season or play in the MLS Cup Playoffs, that’s the first thing to know. It changes how you plan your money for the whole trip.

Nu Stadium visitor guide: where Miami Freedom Park is
Nu Stadium is Inter Miami’s home at Miami Freedom Park, near Miami International Airport. The official address is 1000 Stadium Drive, Miami, FL 33125.
You’ll see both names on maps and tickets. The stadium is Nu Stadium, and Miami Freedom Park is the wider development around it. Check the club’s A-Z guide before game day for bag rules and gate times.
Inter Miami playoffs 2026: key dates this fall
The regular season ends on Decision Day, Saturday, November 7, 2026, when Inter Miami hosts Charlotte FC at Nu Stadium at 4:00 p.m. ET. After that, MLS moves into the playoffs:
| Stage | Dates |
|---|---|
| Wild Card | November 18 |
| Round One | November 20 to December 2 |
| Conference Semifinals | December 5 and 6 |
| Conference Finals | December 11 and 12 |
| MLS Cup | Friday, December 18 |
Which games land in Miami depends on seeding. MLS publishes the full bracket once it’s final, so book flexible travel if you’re coming for a playoff match. Round One dates are subject to change, so check the official MLS playoffs schedule before you book.
Parking, rides and gates
Parking passes must be bought in advance. The stadium doesn’t sell them on matchday. If you’d rather not drive, select “Miami Freedom Park” in your rideshare app. The official driving routes page says NW 14th Street west of NW 37th Avenue is closed to all traffic except rideshare.
All guest entrances open 90 minutes before kickoff. Backpacks are not allowed and bags are discouraged, so travel light.
Both parking and rides go on your card, so this part of the day doesn’t need cash.
Is Nu Stadium cashless? Card only, and pay in dollars

Yes. Tickets, food, drinks and merchandise inside Nu Stadium are all paid by card. Before you travel, make sure your card works in the US and let your bank know your dates.
When a terminal offers to charge you in your home currency, choose US dollars. That on-screen conversion is set by the terminal’s provider, not your bank, and it’s rarely the better deal.
A quick matchday checklist:
- A card that works in the US, with your bank notified of your travel dates.
- Your parking pass, if you’re driving. It has to be bought in advance.
- A small bag, or no bag at all. Backpacks are not allowed.
Outside the stadium, cash still does the work
A game is one afternoon. The rest of the trip runs on small daily expenses: a coffee near the hotel, a tip for the waiter, a late meal after the match, paying back a friend who covered your ride. Tipping is part of eating out in the US, and a lot of visitors find it easier to leave it in cash.
That’s where dollars in your pocket help, and where exchanging in advance saves you from hunting for an ATM that isn’t there. For more on carrying cash during your stay, read our guide to the best way to travel with cash.
