There is no parking at Factory Town

Factory Town has no parking on site. The organizers recommend carpooling or using a rideshare app, and cars left in illegal spots get towed. Re-entry is only for VIP ticket holders, so once you’re in, plan to stay.

That means two rides a night, and six if you go all weekend. Rideshare apps charge the card on your account. If it’s a card from home, your bank converts every trip at its own exchange rate, so count those rides when you set the budget for the weekend.

Cash or card at the festival

The event page doesn’t say whether the festival takes cash, so read the FAQ again a few days before. Either way, cash still covers the parts of the night that happen outside the gates: a late meal on the way back to the hotel, paying a friend for your share of the ride, or a tip for someone who helped you out.

When you do pay by card, pick US dollars if the terminal offers to charge you in your home currency. That on-screen conversion is set by the terminal’s provider, not your bank, and it’s rarely the better deal.
